Important: Student who have completed at least a few projects would benefit most from this workshop; this workshop is not designed for brand new knitters.

Learn to fix common mistakes made in knitting.

In this workshop, you will learn how to fix a dropped stitch, undo incorrect stitches, get back on track when you have to FROG, and more!

Skills Required:

• Knit Stitches
• Purl Stitches
• Cast On
• Bind Off
• Increase(s)
• Decrease(s)

Homework:

Using worsted weight yarn and size US 8 needles (or chunky weight yarn and size US 9 needles) knit a swatch as follows:

• • Cast on twelve stitches
  • Knit rows of 2x2 rib (k2, p2) until swatch is at least 2” long
  • Knit twelve or more rows of garter stitch (knit every row)
  • Knit at least 2” of stockinette stitch (alternating knit rows and purl rows)
• leave work on the needles (do not bind off)
