In this basic sock class, we will discuss standard sock construction. Using double-pointed needles (or other preferred method for knitting in the round), you will learn the steps and skills necessary to make your own!
Required Skills:
- Knitting in the round
- Knitting with sport or fingering weight yarn
Required Materials:
- One set of double point needles (Size US 3 or smaller)
- One skein of fingering weight yarn (smooth/not textured, light color, solid color preferred)
- Scissors
- Darning needle
Suggested Materials:
- Measuring tape
- One set of circular or straight needles in the same size as the double point set
