Let's Start Knitting!
Weekly Class (3 Sessions)
This class is designed for the absolute beginner; anyone who has never picked up a set of knitting needles or needs a refresher on the most basic knitting stitches. This class will get you knitting. In fact, you will start a simple scarf in this class!
Materials Required:
- A pair of single point or circular knitting needles, Size US 7 or 8.
- One ball or skein of yarn (smooth, not textured, light color (no black or navy)).
*Materials are available for purchase at the shop. A 10% discount will be applied to a single unit of yarn purchased for class.

I enjoyed this class very much. It was fun to work with other beginner students in a small group. I’ve struggled to learn knitting on my own, but Vera is an excellent teacher and made it fun. I learned all the basics of knitting and even managed to finish a small project in three weeks. I look forward to building on these skills and taking more classes.
